This policy explains what personal data Fika Inc., operating this website as Owned Media Japan (“we”), collects, why we collect it, and what rights you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

The only personal data this website collects is what you voluntarily submit through our contact form:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your company name
• Your website URL (optional)
• The content of your message

Our web server also records standard technical access logs, which may include your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visited. These are used only for security and troubleshooting.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site — for example, which pages are viewed and how people arrive here. See “Cookies” below for details.

Why we use it

• To reply to you. We use your contact details to respond to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to deliver the service.
• To keep records. We retain business correspondence as required for accounting and contractual purposes.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We will not add you to a marketing list without asking you first.

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers that make this website and our business function — for example our web hosting provider, our email provider, and Google Analytics for site usage statistics. They process data on our instructions only.

We are based in Japan, so data you send us is stored and processed in Japan. If you are in the EEA or the UK, this means your data is transferred outside your region. Japan has been recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Records relating to actual client work are retained for the period required by Japanese tax and corporate law.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to object to processing, to request portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
